Jesus not only answered so well that the teachers of the law decided to quit asking questions, but then Jesus started asking them questions!! Uh, oh!
So, how IS Jesus David's son?
Jesus' earthly body came from Mary who was a descendant of King David.
But then we have the much more complex question. How was David talking to Jesus a thousand years before Jesus was born?
I think Jesus was saying, “You guys think you are so smart, but you haven't been around for very long! I was present at the Creation of the World!”
If you need to refresh your mind on this, we looked at Jesus as Creator on Day 3.
Jesus has not only always existed but was an active participant in the Creation of everything.
Tomorrow we'll look at what Jesus taught the crowd about these Jewish leaders.
