The Bible was written in languages that we would find very difficult to understand, so scholars have “translated” them into English. There are many, many different translations available. If you are using the on-line Bible provided, you can choose from the following commonly used versions:
KJV – The King James Version written in 1611 (it sounds “old English”)
NASB – New American Standard Bible (updated in 1995)
NIV – New International Version (updated in 2011)
ESV – English Standard Version (updated in 2016)
