In this account, you see Jesus and His disciples passing through Samaria on the way to Jerusalem. Most Jews would have traveled the long way around to avoid contact with the Samaritans. Jesus had no such racial prejudices.
How did the disciples react when the people of Samaria wouldn't welcome them?

Jesus simply went on to another village.
There will be times when you mess up like the disciples. Your attitude and actions will not be what Jesus expects of you. The Holy Spirit will lead you to confess your sin and let Jesus clean it up. It is sad to feel Jesus' rebuke or criticism, but sadder if we don't hear it and just continue to do bad things. When you hear Jesus rebuke you, Stop! Drop! And confess!
1 John 1:9 says that if we will confess our sins, God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. The quicker we get clean, the quicker we can get back on track and hear His leading us forward.
